Viraj Nair

Viraj Nair is a Vice President, Communications, based in Mumbai.
Viraj is a seasoned marketing & communications professional with about 15 years of work experience across journalism, management consulting and corporate communications.At NIIF, Viraj oversees all marketing & communications activities, including media relations, digital strategy and internal communications.Prior to joining NIIF, Viraj led Marketing for Kalaari Capital, one of India’s leading early stage, technology-focused venture capital firms based in Bengaluru.
Previously, Viraj helped drive content & thought leadership at KPMG member firms in India and Singapore, following a stint as a management consultant at KPMG India's CFO advisory division.Earlier in his career, Viraj spent nearly a decade in corporate and financial journalism, covering a broad range of industries from energy & infrastructure to sports & technology.
He has authored and edited articles for leading newspapers, newswires, and magazines, including the Financial Express, the Economic Times, Mint, Fortune India magazine, the Nikkei Asian Review, and Reuters News.Viraj has a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Delhi and completed his post-graduation from the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai.
