Ulrich Wlecke

Dr. Ulrich Wlecke is Managing Director at ELBE PARTNERS.
Building on many years of experience in the field of investment banking at Westdeutsche Landesbank, Dr. Ulrich Wlecke was actively involved in many IPOs and M&A transactions.
Later he became senior partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants managing the competence center for restructuring and corporate finance as the deputy department chief.
After that he co-headed the German business of Alix Partners, one of the leading turnaround consultancies.
Dr. Ulrich Wlecke is an expert in the field of restructuring, recapitalization, and crisis management.
He is founder and vice president of the Turnaround Management Association (Gesellschaft für Restrukturierung TMA Deutschland e.V.).
After graduating in business administration in 1989, Dr. Ulrich Wlecke received a PhD from the University of Münster.
