Profile

Mr. Picther is a partner at Goodwin Proctor, LLP, and has years of experience in the venture capital and biotech/health care industries advising private equity investors, portfolio companies, and start-ups on intellectual property matters and strategies.
Prior to joining Goodwin Proctor, Mr. Pitcher was a Venture Partner with Flagship Ventures where he assisted portfolio companies with IP strategy.
Mr. Pitcher was the founding partner and former chair of the Patent and Intellectual Property practice group of Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP.
Previously, he co-founded one of the largest patent boutique firms in Boston.
Mr. Pitcher graduated magna cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, and from Hamilton College, where he studied chemistry and biology.
He currently advises nine Flagship portfolio companies directly, and provides IP strategy advice to our ongoing venture creation activities.
