Sylvester J. Schieber

Sylvester J.
Schieber has been Director of the U.S.
Benefits Practice of Wyatt Watson & Co. Holdings since 2005.
He was a Director from 2001 to 2004 and served as a Director of Watson Wyatt & Company from 1989 to 1996.
He was Vice President and Director of the Reseach and Information Center from 1983 to 2005.
From 1994 to 1996, he served on the Advisory Council on Social Security appointed by the Clinton Administration.
He currently serves on the Social Security Advisory Board, to which he was initially appointed in January 1998 by the U.S.
Senate Majority Leader at the time and to which he was recently reappointed for another six-year term.
He has a Ph.D.
in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
