Profile

Mr. Steve Frank has worked in banking and real estate, and now owns and operates Rivers Edge Resort in Fairbanks.
He was elected to the State House in 1984 and to the Senate in 1988, where he served two 4-year terms.
He has served on the Fairbanks Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, Alyeska Pipeline Company President's Community Panel, and Catholic Schools-Monroe Foundation Board of Directors.
He was born and raised in Fairbanks.
He was appointed to the APFC board in 2003, re-appointed in 2004 under Governor Murkowski, and re-appointed in July 2008 by Governor Palin to a four-year term.
He served as Vice-Chair from 2004 to 2007 and served as Chair from 2007 to 2010.
Mr. Frank studied at the University of Washington and the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
