Stephen Jencks
Profile
Prior to joining Finacorp, Mr. Jencks designed and managed the MBS electronic trading platform for a consortium of bulge bracket dealers including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and Citibank.
He has been active in the industry since 1983 when he worked in New York with Prudential Bache Securities where he traded TBA's for the institutional MBS trading desk.
In the late 1980's he relocated to the West Coast and founded the MBS trading desk for US Bancorp's Capital Markets Division where he traded both pass-through and CMOs.
After a number of years working for various broker dealers in the Northwest, in 1998 he founded Bondweb.com Inc., one of the first internet based trading platforms for MBS.
Mr. Jencks holds a BA in Political Science from Tufts University.
He holds FINRA licenses Series 6, 24 & 63.
