Stéphane Caron

Prior to joining BDR Capital in May 2008, Mr. Caron was Investment Manager of IT at Solidarity Fund QFL, responsible for a growing portfolio of start-up and mid-stage technology companies.
From 2000 to 2007, he was CFO for two different software organizations where he helped raise over $25 million in venture capital investment.
He began his career in 1990 at Desjardins Venture Capital.
He is responsible for 5 companies within BDR’s portfolio.
He serves on the board of 3 technology companies and was actively involved in the creation of the Quebec Angel Investors organization.
He currently presides over the advisory committee of Capital Innovation.
He participates in numerous events and special committees advising technology start-ups.
