Sean Lacy

Mr. Sean Lacy has been involved with business sales and acquisitions his entire professional career.
Sean began his career with Business Brokerage Press Inc. developing marketing, education, and firm management tools and systems for the business brokerage/M&A industry before starting his own intermediary firm.
As a firm owner in Texas and the Carolinas, Mr. Lacy facilitated a wide variety of business sales, acquisitions, and valuations.
He also consulted with business owners on enhancing business value and exit planning.
Mr. Lacy is uniquely qualified to assist clients with matters related to buying, selling, or valuing a business and offers the only comprehensive program for business buyers in Coastal North Carolina.
In 2006, Mr. Lacy was one of the youngest professionals in the country to receive the Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association.
He is also Certified in Business Acquisition Advisory by the Institute of Professional Business Buyer Advisors.
Additionally, Sean is a Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser.
Mr. Lacy has contributed to multiple industry publications as both an author and editor.
Along with founder Tom West, Mr. Lacy serves as editor for the Business Reference Guide, an annual business pricing guide now in it’s 22nd year.
The BRG is the leading source of business pricing guidelines for brokers and appraisers of small businesses throughout the United States and Canada.
Mr. Lacy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Cameron School of Business.
He is a competitive tennis player and a not so competitive golfer.
He and his wife Sarah are the proud parents of a son named Harrison.
