Mr. Roy Keenan is a Co-Head of Australian Fixed Income at Yarra Funds Management Ltd.
He is responsible for leading the Fixed Income team, focusing on Australian Fixed Income and Credit.
He has over 30 years’ investment experience both in asset management and trading, specializing in credit products since 1995.
Before transitioning to Yarra Capital Management, Mr. Keenan was Head of Australian Credit at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
He joined Goldman Sachs in 1992, where he worked within the firm’s securities division as a Price Maker/Trader in government and corporate bonds, and from 1997 served as Head of the Fixed Income Desk where he specialized in broking and trading high yield products.
He joined the Asset Management division in 2008.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked for four years in the Investment Management Division of the State Insurance Office.
In 1988, he moved to the Treasury Corporation of Victoria and specialized in liability management of debt products, both domestically and offshore.
Mr. Keenan holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Swinburne University, Melbourne.
