AFPT, situated in Germany and Holland, recently entered the market with the newly developed tape placement process. At the company's development center in Dörth near Koblenz, Germany, AFPT develops and produces tape placement systems, based on a modular principle. AFPT is developed to produce high-quality thermoplastic composites by welding fibre reinforced thermoplastic tapes. In partnership with well known research institutes and outstanding industrial companies, AFPT is developing new promising applications, which will enter the global markets during the next years.
