Mr. Robin Bew is a Managing Director at Economist Intelligence Unit Ltd.
He is responsible for the overarching commercial and editorial success of the EIU’s business.
He retains an extremely client facing role, advising many of the largest customers on global trends and business developments, as well as having direct input into clients strategy discussions.
He joined the EIU in 1995.
At various times in his career at the EIU he has led the Economics Unit, Sovereign Credit and Operating Risk team, Global Forecasting team and Custom Research team.
Prior to becoming Managing Director, Mr. Bew was Editorial Director (2006-2013) and Chief Economist (1997-2013) of the EIU, responsible for the company’s editorial operations and leading the intellectual debate across the business—both within the country, industry and risk assessment teams and among consulting teams.
Mr. Bew received his Master of Science in Economics from the University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Finance from Brunel University.
