Richard P. Eidswick

Mr. Eidswick is now a Founding Partner of the Arbor Partners, having previously served as a Managing Director with the firm from 1996 to 2004.
While he remains closely involved in the operations of Arbor Partners, in 2004, Mr. Eidswick left his position as Managing Director after he was appointed President of Champ Car World Series, an open-wheel auto racing series in Indianapolis.
During his tenure with Arbor Partners, Mr. Eidswick was also instrumental in establishing the Michigan Venture Capital Association and served as its founding President in 2002 and 2003.
Mr. Eidswick founded Network Express and served as President and CEO from start-up through several rounds of venture financing and a public offering (NETK on NASDAQ) in 1994.
Network Express was a fast-growing company in the emerging ISDN communication industry; product revenues increasing from zero in 1990 to $19 million in 1995.
The company was ultimately acquired by Cabletron Systems for $110 million in 1996.
Prior to starting Network Express, Mr. Eidswick served as Chairman and CEO of Diffracto, a Canadian company in the machine vision industry until the company’s merger with Perceptron in 1990.
Mr. Eidswick was also the Founder and CEO of Machine Vision International until its merger with Compucom in 1986.
From 1968 to 1982, Mr. Eidswick was Senior Vice President and a Director of Comshare.
Mr. Eidswick received a BS in mechanical engineering from San Jose State University and studied management at New York University.
