Richard Seifer is Head of Fixed Income Trading at Lantern Investments, Inc. After voluntarily closing BRSI, He joined Lantern Investments in 2006.
His bond trading experience started at Gregory & Sons as a floor Clerk in the bond room at the NYSE in June 1964.
In January of 1971, after two years of military service, his career re-started with an eleven-year stint on the corporate trading desk at Prudential, Bache Securities.
He then spent the next eight years at Murphy and Dureau/Gruntal.
He was also working at Purcell Graham.
At this point, he formed a partnership with one other principal and opened Bernard, Richards Securities, Inc. He graduated with a BBA from the Baruch School in 1968.
