Randy E. Newsome

Prior to joining Heitman in 1993, Mr. Newsome worked with The Stratus Corporation, where he participated in all aspects of real estate investment and management.
He was responsible for the establishment of the property management operation, lease negotiations, redevelopment and construction management, and acquisition underwriting, including the underwriting of several prominent Chicago buildings.
He also worked with the Alan I.
Kay Companies, where he executed new property development and negotiated financing arrangements with the company’s lenders.
Mr. Newsome’s first real estate position was with The Balcor Company in 1985, where he completed the analysis and structuring of over sixty real estate acquisitions including retail, office, mobile home, self storage, apartment and industrial properties.
Mr. Newsome earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting at Illinois Wesleyan University.
