BioResonator's business idea is to develop and market biomedical sensors and diagnostic systems with a particular focus on sensors for the health and medical market. The sensors can be used to diagnose several diseases and the core technology is patent protected. The term sensors and diagnostic systems also include digital transfer and handling of general results and data. Its focus area is glaucoma where intraocular pressure is a central medical examination. The business model is based on the core competence in sensor techniques in general and piezoelectronic opportunities in particular. The competence in this area should be maintained and developed and, wherever possible, strengthened by means of close collaboration with other universities as well as commercial organizations.
