Ms. Rutland joined South Texas Money Management as part of the addition of the Dallas office.
Prior to joining South Texas Money Management in 2009, she co-founded Rutland Dickson Asset Management where she served as the firm’s lead fixed income manager and strategist as well as compliance officer and performance specialist.
She will serve as a Senior Investment Advisor for STMM.
Ms. Rutland began her career with First National Bank of Dallas in operations and as a Trust Teller.
In 1972 she became a performance analyst for the newly formed Interfirst Investment Management (later to become Bank of America).
For a time, she became part of the research group but then moved to the Fixed Income Department where she managed accounts of large Common Trust Funds and wealthy individuals.
Her expertise includes management philosophy, economic analysis, individual stock and bond selections as well as security trading.
Ms. Rutland is a member of the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts, Advisory Council of the Dallas Foundation and National Committee on Planned Giving.
She enjoys spending her spare time traveling, taking photography classes and enjoying her family and friends.
