Nicholas MacShane

Mr. Nicholas MacShane is a Head of European Partnerships at Irish Life Investment Managers Ltd.
He has overall responsibility for ILIM’s European client relationships, working with our partners to ensure that ILIM’s range of services is aligned with and delivered to our clients’ needs and expectations.
Mr. MacShane joined Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM) in 2001 as a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for all aspects of the Irish Life Assurance relationship.
In 2005, he was appointed to the Institutional Portfolio Management team and in 2012, he was appointed as Head of DB Portfolio Management with responsibility for Client Relationship Management.
He has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
He previously worked for Progressive Life Assurance and at Irish Life Assurance.
Mr. MacShane holds a degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University College Cork, an MSc.
in Investment and Treasury from Dublin City University, and an MBA from the University College Dublin.
