Mingze Ma

The World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) is an international organization based in London, UK, founded in 1989 with Ingemar Engkvist as the CEO. WANO is dedicated to nuclear safety and represents over 120 members who operate more than 430 civil nuclear power reactors worldwide. The British company's long-term plan, Compass, focuses on four areas and their year-end highlights report summarizes their programs, governance, and membership for the year. WANO also has an initiative called WANO Young Generation, which allows young employees working in their member organizations to network and share information about the nuclear industry with their peers.
