Mr. Hairston joined the staff of The Trust Company of Oklahoma in 1996.
Prior to that, he was vice president of the Private Financial Services Group of the Bank of Oklahoma after starting his trust career in 1981 with Utica National Bank and Trust Company.
He later managed the Personal Trust Division at Valley Bank and Trust Company in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Hairston earned his BS degree in Finance and Economics from Oklahoma State University and completed the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
He has been designated a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) by the Institute of Certified Bankers.
He is a former director and president of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and has completed a community leadership program.
