Michael L.
Cox was a Director of First Merchants Corp.
from 1984 to May 6, 2009.
Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of First Merchants Bank NA and First Merchants.
Mr. Cox served in the capacities of Executive Vice President, a Member of the Board of Directors, Executive, Trust and Audit Committees of the commercial bank.
Prior to joining First Merchants Bank, he was associated with Ontario Corporation, Ontario Systems Corporation, City Securities Corporation and The Merchants National Bank of Muncie.
He served in the US Army for 2 years.
Mr. Cox received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ball State University in 1970.
