Mr. Micah J.
Wakefield is a Portfolio Manager, Director of Research & Product Development at Swan Global Management LLC and at Swan Global Investments LLC.
Mr. Wakefield directs Swan Overlay programs, helps oversee underlying investments for DRS, daily risk assessment and position review.
He also leads research and development of strategies and products at Swan leveraging an extensive track record in portfolio management, trading, analysis, and business management.
He frequently contributes to the authorship of our thought leadership material.
Prior to joining Swan, Mr. Wakefield was Director of Operations and Trading and a member of the investment committee for a wealth management firm in Texas.
He earned an MBA from Liberty University and has also completed the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designee program and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist program from the College for Financial Planning.
He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA).
