Mark Haefele

Dr. Mark Haefele is a Global Chief Investment Officer at UBS AG.
Dr. Haefele is also the Chair of the UBS Global Investment Committee.
In this capacity, he oversees the investment policy and strategy for approximately USD 2 trillion in invested assets.
Dr. Haefele joined UBS as Head of Investment, CIO WM when the CIO office was founded in 2011.
Before joining UBS, he was the Co-Founder and Co-Fund Manager at Sonic Capital.
He also served as a Managing Director at Matrix Capital Management.
Dr. Haefele received a BA from Princeton and both an MA and Ph.D.
from Harvard University.
As a Fulbright Scholar, he also received an MA from the Australian National University.
