Mr. Ken E.
Williams is President & Chief Executive Officer at Stone & Youngberg LLC.
He joined the firm in December 1978 and assumed his current role in 1996.
His responsibilities include overseeing all business activities at Stone & Youngberg and managing the Municipal Bond Department.
He is also currently the Chairman at the Regional Bond Dealers Association and an Advisor at the University of the Pacific’s Eberhardt School of Business Student Investment Fund.
Prior to joining Stone & Youngberg, Mr. Williams began his career in municipal finance in 1971.
He was a Member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board from 2004-06 and served as Vice Chairman for the 2006 fiscal year.
Mr. Williams previously served on the Board of Directors of The Bond Market Association (now SIFMA) from 1995-98, and was Chairman of the Association's Municipal Securities Division in 1997.
He was a Member of the NASD (now FINRA) Fixed Income Committee from 1999-2001, and a Member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the California Public Securities Association from 1986-88.
Mr. Williams received his B.A.
from the University of the Pacific.
