Profile
After leaving Millfield School at 15, Julian went straight into the family business and following his father's death, he took over the running of the company at the age of 16.
In addition he also ran True Tone Securities, a property investment company in 1978.
In 1982 he bought the assets of a company that was to form Pims UK, merging his father's print business into the new company and turning over half a million pounds.
As Chairman of Pims, Julian expanded the UK operation over the next decade to include a number of key print & mailing companies.
Pims USA was started in 1987, now hosting four offices across the States.
The North American division was extended in 2001 with the purchase of CCN Matthews and again in 2002 with the amalgamation of CCN and E-News.
In 2003 the Pims Holdings Group turned over 40 million pounds.
