Santander Asset Management SA AGF (SAM-AGF) is the Chile-based asset management subsidiary of Santander Asset Management Investment Holdings Ltd., which is owned by Banco Santander SA (BME: SAN) in Spain. The firm was founded in 1993 as Santiago SA Administradora de Fondos Mutuos. They merged with O'Higgins Administradora de Fondos Mutuos SA in 1997 and was renamed Santander S.A. Administradora General de Fondos in 2003. In 2007, the firm became Santander Asset Management SA Administradora General De Fondos. Headquartered in Santiago, SAM-AGF manages the Santander fund range for individual and institutional investors.

Penta Capital de Riesgo SA (Penta Capital) is the fund management subsidiary of Empresas Penta SA in Chile, established in 1986 by Carlos Alberto Délano and Carlos Eugenio Lavín. Formerly known as Penta Administradora General de Fondos SA, the firm is based in Santiago and is a Chilean pension fund administrator which is noted for offering unique products in the Chilean market and for obtaining substantial profits. They also offer a range of mutual funds, including their flagship fund, Penta Selección.
