Joseph Ayisi

Joseph is the VP of Finance and Operations at 5th Century Partners (“5CP”).
He has over 13 years of private equity accounting, compliance and operations experience.
Prior to joining 5CP, Joseph was the Controller and VP of Compliance at Chicago Pacific Founders (“CPF”), a Chicago-based middle market private equity firm.
Prior to CPF, he worked at Pomona Capital (NY) where he oversaw the operations and accounting of a registered private equity fund focused on secondary investments.
Joseph was the controller of Halyard Capital, a New York based lower-middle market private equity firm before joining Pomona.
He has worked at both JP Morgan (NY) and Northern Trust’s private equity and real estate funds services groups, where he worked on both private equity fund-of-funds as well as direct LBO private equity funds.
He began his career in public accounting at Grant Thornton.
Joseph holds an M.S.
in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BSc.
in Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Joseph currently resides in Chicago with his family.
