John Bond Trevor

Mr. John B.
Trevor is a Managing Director at Parsons Capital Management, Inc. He has over 12 years experience, joined Parsons Capital Management in January, 2011.
Prior to joining Parsons Capital Management, he was a portfolio manager and financial planner for Slocum, Gordon & Company in Newport.
He attended St. Paul’s School and graduated from University of Colorado with a BA in Political Science.
He received his MBA from the University of Rhode Island and completed the Financial Planning certification program at Bryant University.
He is Treasurer of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Fishers Island, NY and is a permanent Deacon at Central Congregational Church in Providence where he currently serves on their Prudential Committee.
He has served on the board of the Audubon Society of RI where he was chair of their investment committee and as a trustee for the Gordon School where he currently serves on its investment committee.
He is a former president and current trustee of IGWE Trust and a member of the Financial Planning Association of RI.
He is a Certified Financial Planner.
