Johannes Osinga studied business economics at the University of Groningen, completing a postgraduate course in Accountancy (Chartered Accountant) in 1993.
From 1991 to 1998 he worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, after which he switched to Friesland Bank NV in 1998.
After a short period as credit accountant of the banking division, Johannes transferred to the private equity division in 1999.
In 2004 he was appointed assistant manager of this division.
He has been working for NoorderHuys Participaties since the beginning in 2007.
