Joe Deal

Mr. Deal joined JMI in 2004.
His JMI investment experience includes Autotask Corporation, Panorama Software, Ltd.
and Eloqua Corporation.
In 2001, Mr. Deal joined Astrum Software Corporation, an emerging storage resource management software vendor and a JMI IV investment.
At Astrum, his responsibilities included inside and outside sales, in addition to marketing and lead generation efforts.
Astrum was acquired by EMC Corporation in 2003.
Mr. Deal began his career as an Associate at Geocapital Partners, a transatlantic venture capital firm with approximately $500 million under management.
At Geocapital, he was responsible for sourcing and helping to close software and business services investments across the United States and Western Europe.
Mr. Deal received his B.A.
from Harvard University.
