Dr. Joanna Piechucka is a Research Associate at The German Institute for Economic Research.
She joined DIW Berlin as Research Associate at the Firms and Markets Department in October 2018.
She is an applied microeconomist working empirically on topics related to competition policy and regulation.
She has experience in performing economic analyses for merger and antitrust cases in a variety of sectors.
Prior to joining DIW Berlin, in addition to her research projects, she has worked for a competition consultancy firm based in Paris.
She obtained her Ph.D.
from the Paris School of Economics in July 2018.
