Prior to joining Cazenovia Creek Investment Management, LLC, he was a senior portfolio manager, shareholder and the managing director of the structured finance group at Old Hill Partners; a multi-asset fixed income hedge fund.
He also served on the Investment Committee for The Patriot Group (a related Asset Based Lending hedge fund manager) and also served as the head of commercial mortgage originations for the Patriot Group.
Prior to Old Hill, he was an Associate Director at Barclays Capital on the Financing Trading Desk.
While at Barclays, he traded the US Agency Specials, Term Repo Matched Books and an Interest Rate Arbitrage portfolio with combined assets of over $10 Billion.
He also helped develop the mortgage and ABS financing capacity and other security based liquidity focused transactions.
He began his career an associate with AG Arbor Management; a real estate securities and related investments hedge fund.
The fund was a joint venture between Telebanc (Now ETRADE bank) and Angelo, Gordon, and Co. Mr. Libby is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a BA in Psychology and Chemistry.
