Prior to joining the CPP Investment Board in September 2002 as a Human Resource Advisor, Ms. Sweeney's business experience included five years with Manulife Financial as Vice President - Human Resources, as well as experience with North American Life, CIBC and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
Ms. Sweeney was appointed Director - Human Resources in July 2004.
She is responsible for leading the human resources function.
