Aberdeen Association of Social Service, also known as VSA, is the largest social care charity in Aberdeen, UK. In 2020, VSA was awarded a grant from The National Heritage Lottery fund to deliver a project showcasing the history of social care in Aberdeen since 1870. The British company provides residential and placement support for adults with a wide range of learning disabilities. VSA's Additional Support Needs Advisory Project (ASNAP) aims to support local children service providers to facilitate the integration of children and young people living with additional support needs in crèches, playgroups, and After School Clubs throughout Aberdeen. The non-profit company also helps older people, carers, and those with autism. Founded in 1870, VSA supports people with mental health diagnosis, learning disabilities, and additional support needs.
