Dr. Horacio C.
Teran is a Principal at First Republic Investment Management, Inc. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, he was the Market Investment Director for US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in the Silicon Valley region where he was also a Portfolio Manager.
Prior to US Trust, Horacio was a Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo's Private Bank in Palo Alto, California.
His work experience includes practicing law in Mexico and advising the Mexican Ministry of Trade on the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
He has also advised state governments in efforts to attract new capital investments.
Dr. Teran is a graduate of the Stanford Law School and holds a PhD from New York University as well as an MA from the London School of Economics.
He holds the Certified Investment Analyst designation.
