Prior to joining Delaney Capital in September 1995, Mr. Bent was employed at GWL Investment Management Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Great West Life Assurance Company, which has assets under management in excess of $3.3 billion.
He started with GWL as a Senior Analyst in 1992 and, at the time of his departure, was an Assistant Portfolio Manager.
Mr. Bent began his career in August 1988 with the Manitoba Civil Service Superannuation Fund as a Money Market Analyst and was promoted to Canadian Equity Analyst in January 1991.
Mr. Bent graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Manitoba in December 1988, and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1993.
