Gene Song

Mr. Gene Song is a Portfolio Manager & Global Head of Equity Capital Markets at Alpine Global Management LLC.
He has more than 25 years of ECM experience and has led sales teams at some of the world's pre-eminent banking organizations.
Before joining Alpine Global, Mr. Song worked at Citi, most recently as Head of Institutional Equity sales in New York, where he was responsible for both the emerging hedge fund and institutional equity sales desks.
He headed one of Citi's largest sales teams globally, earning high marks from clients in the Greenwich and Institutional Investor rankings.
Prior to his nearly 17-year career at Solomon Smith Barney/Citi, he worked in equity sales at Merrill Lynch.
He began his career at Paine Webber in 1993.
Mr. Song is a graduate of Binghamton University.
