State Street Global Advisors Ltd. (SSgA) is a Canadian mutual fund manager headquartered in Montreal, Quebec with an additional office in Toronto, Ontario. The firm was founded in 1991 and is a subsidiary of State Street Global Advisors International Holdings, Inc., ultimately held by State Street Corp. (NYSE: STT). SSgA provides asset allocation models on a non-discretionary basis to investment advisers and other financial institutions. They also provide investment advice to pensions and profit-sharing plans.
