Faisal Ahmed

Mr. Faisal Ahmed, CFA, is an Equity Analyst at Rowan Dartington & Co. Ltd.
He joined the firm in January 2015 in the Research team.
Mr. Ahmed began his career in 1998 as an Investment Manager at Goy Harris Cartwright, where he ran private client portfolios on a discretionary basis.
A few years later, he became a self-employed proprietary trader, primarily trading European bond futures on the Eurex and LIFFE exchanges.
Prior to joining Rowan Dartington, Mr. Faisal Ahmed spent over eight years at the tier-one Aspect Capital.
In his capacity as Senior Trader, he was responsible for running the Asia desk.
Not only has he traded the world’s major foreign exchange pairs, he has also traded every liquid commodity, index and fixed income futures market across the globe.
Mr. Ahmed is an Associate member of the UK CFA Institute and holds an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling.
