Ms. Fabienne Rasel is an Advisor to the President at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
She has been the executive assistant to the ZEW President since June 2017.
Prior to this, she worked in ZEW's Research Department "Digital Economy".
Ms. Rasel studied economics at the University of Mannheim and the University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium as well as at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
Alongside her role at the institute, she completed the doctoral program at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE) at the University of Mannheim as part of the ZEW Doctoral Studies Network (DocNet), graduating in June 2016.
For her doctoral thesis, she analyzed the significance of enterprise software and computer-based work for firms' export and import activities as well as for corporate productivity.
