Diana C. Brittan

Ms. Dame Diana C.
Brittan is Chairman of The Royal United Kingdom Beneficent Association.
She has several experiences in both public and voluntary sectors.
Dame Brittan is currently Chairman of The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields and the London and South Regional Committee of the British Lung Foundation.
In addition to her voluntary appointments, she serves as Justice of the Peace in the City of London and is President of the Townswomen's Guilds.
Previously, she was Chairman of the Community Fund (formerly the National Lottery Charities Board) for five years until 2004.
In 1984, Dame Brittan became a Magistrate on the City of London bench.
She went on to become a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) in 1989, joined the Human Fertility and Embryology Authority as its Deputy Chairwoman in 1990, was the Deputy Chairwoman of the EOC from 1994 to 1996.
She served as a Trustee and then Chairwoman of the Runnymede Trust, as Chairwoman of the Race in Europe Network, as a member of the Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Legal Education and Conduct, of the European Union of Women and the Open University Foundation.
