Mr. Bassett-Parkins joined MCG in June 2000.
Prior to joining MCG Global, he was a co-founder of Netgateway, Inc., a public California-based Internet infrastructure and e-commerce developer where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in addition to being a Member of the Board of Directors.
In 1998 while at Netgateway, Mr. Bassett-Parkins worked closely with Vincent Wasik and Garrett Stonehouse as Netgateway performed value-added project work for an MCG Global portfolio company.
Prior to Netgateway, he served as Vice President of Information Systems for Wedbush Morgan Securities.
While at Wedbush Morgan, Mr. Bassett-Parkins led the firm in the complete modernization of all computer information systems and also served as Vice President of the Credit, Customer Services, and Client Banking departments as well as on the Management and Finance Committees.
Prior to Wedbush Morgan, Mr. Bassett-Parkins served as Director of Automation and member of the Senior Management Committee for ISD, a private national Interior Architectural firm.
Mr. Bassett-Parkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and an Executive Education Certificate from University of California at Los Angeles.
He is also a published author on the use of computer software for the architectural design industry.
