Craig M. McAllaster

Dr. Craig M.
McAllaster is a Member-Managers Board at The Nemours Foundation.
In addition to that, He has served on the faculties of Alfred State College, Cornell University and the University of Central Florida.
Dr. McAllaster worked for Consolidated Foods, AVX Corporation and Loral Corporation in executive positions prior to academia.
In 1999, Dr. McAllaster joined the board of directors of CNL Hotels & Resorts, a public, unlisted REIT that owned two resorts valued at $40 million.
He served as chair of the audit committee, member of the audit committee, chair of the corporate governance committee, and a member of the special committee.
In April of 2007, the company was purchased for $6.6 billion by Morgan Stanley.
In January 2001, he joined the Board of Managers for the Alfred I.
duPont Testamentary Trust a position held until January 2005 when the board was reorganized.
He was reappointed to the Florida Board of Managers in 2009.
In November 2003, Dr. McAllaster joined the board of BankFIRST, a community bank in Winter Park, Florida.
He chairs the audit committee and is vice-chair of the technology committee.
In April of 2007, BankFIRST was acquired by Castle Creek Investors, he continues on that board.
He was voted on to The BANKShares, Inc. Corporate Board in 2011.
In January 2009, he was appointed as a commissioner for the Orlando Utilities Commission, he is chair of the audit committee and currently serves as Second Vice President.
Dr. McAllaster earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, MS from Alfred University, MA and doctorate degrees from Columbia University.
