Christy Jiayi Wang

Ms. Christy Jiayi Wang was an Investor at Newfund, Inc. Before joining Newfund, Christy was a business associate at Techstars LA where she worked closely with early-stage founders on business and fundraising.
Previously, she has spent three years in tech startups in both operational and strategic roles.
Christy received her MBA from the University of Southern California.
During her MBA, she focused on finance and entrepreneurship, investing for the Marshall Venture Fund as a student analyst.
She also holds a master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University, where she majored in Journalism and interned at CNN International and Reuters Beijing office.
