Marten received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of Dayton after completing several degree requirements at the University of Loyola, Rome, Italy.
Mr. Marten began his business career in management focusing on several successful, closely-held businesses in both the service and real estate development sectors.
Since 1982, he has concentrated on marketing asset management services to both the institutional and individual marketplace.
In 1992, Mr. Marten joined Wallington Asset Management assuming responsibility for marketing the firm's services.
Mr. Marten is actively involved in community affairs and has a special interest in working closely with charitable organizations
