Catherine Benz-Jackson

Catherine is responsible for SIP’s Strategic Value Creation program, which provides its partners with a platform for programmatic engagement with industry leaders on high-impact topics.
Previously, Catherine was an Associate on the Investments and Partnerships team at Alphabet’s urban innovation platform.
She has prior experience at Ibis Networks, a plug load energy management company, as well as at the World Resources Institute, where she was responsible for conducting analyses on U.S.
energy infrastructure economics.
More recently, she worked at a mobility startup, Zendrive, where she led and launched the company’s first large-scale data mapping project.
Catherine graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Energy Strategy & Engineering and an MS in Sustainability Science & Practice.
While at Stanford, Catherine was selected for the Mayfield Fellowship.
Catherine is based in SIP’s Silicon Valley office and lives in San Francisco, California.
