EcoPhos SA- a Belgian company focused on phosphate technology-has invented and developed innovative, economical and ecological processes applying to all market segments in the phosphates industry. The company was created in 1996 by Mr. Mohamed Takhim-the inventor-and VC Belgian firms to develop and commercialize new process breakthroughs in the chemistry of phosphate. The objective was to produce and purify phosphoric acid and phosphate salts. Since its foundation, EcoPhos has developed a unique modular technology platform. Various combinations of the EcoPhos modules are possible according to the available raw materials and the final required product for the phosphate industry. EcoPhos invested more than 30 million Eur for 10 years of technology development.
