Prior to joining Reef, Mr. Dean was engaged in evaluating and negotiating oil and gas assets for Noble Royalties, Inc. and more recently with PLS, Inc. establishing a track record of success and a respected reputation in the oil and gas community.
In 1974 Mr. Dean earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers, Adam Energy Forum and the Dallas Petroleum Club.
