Profile

Prior to joining Sovereign Financial Services (now Invesco Private Capital) in 2001, Brett was with Chesapeake Funds, a $4B asset management firm and hedge fund where he performed fundamental analysis and valuation of public and private equity.
Prior to Chesapeake Funds, he was involved in the startup of two corporate finance consulting practices with Price Waterhouse, and, more recently, Arthur Andersen LLP.
At Arthur Andersen, he was Practice Director for the Corporate Value Consulting Group which provided advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, fairness opinions, due diligence, business plan development, intellectual property analysis and sale assignments for early stage technology start-ups through Fortune 100 companies.
He serves on several partnership advisory boards including KRG Capital, Prism Venture Partners and Riverside Company Partnership.
Brett received a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University in 1983 and a M.B.A.
from Drexel University in 1988.
In addition, he was in the Masters of Management program at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is a Certified Business Analyst (CBA) and Senior Fellow of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), and is currently a Level III CFA candidate.
He is registered with the NASD as a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and as an Investment Advisory Representative (Series 66).
