Flowers is Founder & Managing Director at Caprin Asset Management LLC.
Prior to founding Caprin in 1997, he was Chief Investment Officer for Stern-Arenstein Enterprises, where he acted as Authorized Agent.
Prior to his service at Stern-Arenstein Enterprises, he was Co-Manager of Fixed Income for Branch-Cabell and Company.
His career started in 1971 at United Virginia Bank as a management trainee.
In 1973, he moved into the investment department of United Virginia Bankshares, where he served as Assistant Vice President and Assistant Portfolio Manager of their municipal bond portfolio, which exceeded $500 million.
Mr. Flowers has served on the Board of Governors of the Bond Club of Virginia and also has been active in the Richmond community.
He served as Regional Chairman Small Business Development for the United Way of Greater Richmond, Chairman of the Board of Deacons and a ruling Elder of Second Presbyterian Church.
He has been an active volunteer for the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club for more than 20 years, serving most recently as President and Chairman.
He also served as Chairman of the 1992 United States Youth Soccer National Championship held at the University of Richmond, was Volunteer-of-the-year for Virginia Youth Soccer, and is one of four founding members of the Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers.
Mr. Flowers graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA in 1967, and from Hampden-Sydney College in 1971 with a B.A.
in Economics.
