Mr. Alexander Baskov is a Senior Investment Manager at Pictet Asset Management SA. He joined the Fixed Income team of Pictet Asset Management as a Senior Credit Analyst in 2003.
He is now a Senior Investment Manager responsible for high yield in the Fixed Income team.
Before joining Pictet Asset Management, he worked for RMF Investment Products where, from 1999, he was in charge of credit research for European industrial high yield issuers.
Between 1997 and 1999, after holding a similar position at Edison Mission Energy, a subsidiary of Edison International, he was a financial analyst in the project financing group of NatWest Markets in London.
He is a graduate from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg, and holds an Executive MBA from the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne.
